Diagnosis Differs from all other Desmoxytes species by the combination of the following characters; lamina lateralis (ll) subtriangular; ventral lobe (vll) of lamina lateralis thumb-like, large and long; broad lobe (blm) of lamina medialis indistinctly demarcated from distal lobe (dlm) of lamina medialis by very shallow or slightly deep indentation. [details]
