The species Polyxenus fasciculatus and P. lagurus are compared. The examined characters are as follows : tarsus length of legs 1 and 13 ; hair density on the posterior part of the head ; the number and disposition of sensillae on the sixth antennary article and the number of sensillae on the gnathocbilarial palp. The importance of these characters is discussed when distinguishing these species.
