Note: Attems recorded this species from Borneo twice, and in the Tierreich monograph even omitted the original habitats in West Sumatra. The drawing of the gonopod published in 1938 was probably based on the
Borneo material, and apparently concerns a species of Stenoniodes (cfr. Hoffman, 2001). It is unlikely that laticollis occurs both in western Sumatra and in Borneo.
