B. klisurensis is known only from its type locality and has not been recollected since its original description. The species was never officially synonymized with B. lusitanus, and is here included in the synonym list of the latter based on Strasser (1976). The author did not recognize B. klisurensis in his key to the species of the genus, since the only diagnostic character separating the two species is the significantly shorter, blunt anterior opisthomerital process in B. klisurensis vs. the same process being long, pointed and turned strongly caudad in B. lusitanus. However, the supposed synonymy remains dubious until new, topotypic material of B. klisurensis is collected.
