The gonopods of a specimenfrom Lake Manyara National Park do not entirely fit the description in Mwabvu et al. (2010) and in some respects more resemble some of the other species recognized by these authors. The taxonomy of Archispirostreptus obviously still cannot be regarded as fully resolved.
