cultratus Humbert & Saussure, 1870: 175 [Spirostreptus].
Brasilia. Unspecified series.
Saussure & Humbert (1872) gave a more detailed
redescription, stating that the original description was
based on three fragments of a ♂ collected by Natterer.
No specimens found in the MHNG. The holotype is in
the NHMW (Inventory number 2523/2532, Acquisition
number 1866.I.92). The specimen was reviewed by
Hoffman, who illustrated the head and left gonopod
(Hoffman, 1968a). This specimen has two inventory
numbers because it was also described as Alogostreptus
nattereri Attems, 1950, making the latter a junior
synonym of U. cultratus (Humbert & Saussure, 1870).
