Remarks: Telfer et al. (2015) discussed whether this species is native or introduced to the UK. Five subspecies have been described from the Pyrenees and the Montagne Noire in France, but only C. amoena ssp. confusa has been found outside France: in Belgium and Wales (Telfer et al. 2015).
