Editor's comment The genus name Diactis Loomis, 1937, was recently discovered to be preoccupied by Diactis Hutton, 1880 (Coelenterates). A generic synonym for Diactis Loomis, 1937, Etiron Chamberlin, 1941, is available as a replacement name for Diactis Loomis, 1937. The grammatical treatment of soleata under Etiron requires further investigation (P. Sierwald, February 19,2021) [details]
